I oversee the successful fulfilment of group travel bookings, coordinating suppliers, logistics and client expectations to deliver seamless experiences.
Who are you working with most when a group comes together?
Travellers, Travel Managers and suppliers. It’s about keeping everyone aligned so the experience works for the whole group.
What do people rely on you for when it matters most?
Attention to detail, building trusted relationships and delivering under pressure.
What are you handling behind the scenes that clients don’t always see?
Negotiations to ensure they get the best deals and flexibility when it comes to changes or cancellations. I always have their back.
When things are at their most sensitive, what matters most?
When I worked in destination weddings, a client passed away while in destination with the wedding party. It was about taking quick action before it reached the press and making sure the family were informed first, with compassion and dignity.
What tends to stay on your mind, even outside work?
Usually travel. If I’ve got a trip coming up, I’m checking the weather the day before and making sure everything lines up.
What keeps things in perspective?
My dog. If I tell her off, she just paws me in the face as if to say go away.
